Taking a Break

So I completed my treatment last Thursday and leading up to it I felt stronger, I was able to walk around the yard without gasping for breath, I am moving a little faster, and I can “usually” get out of all the chairs in my house (end of day if I’m really wore out might need some help from Brent).

Even my doctor commented on how good I was looking, the best I’ve looked in a long time, almost back to where I was when we started the treatments. Because of this she gave me a break from the one drug that I think has put me in the hospital, but I know lays me out.  So next week I will try that drug, and I am now on 2 weeks on, 1 week off and this is my break week.  It feels good to be slowly gaining back some strength and energy.

I’m going to meet with my boss this week and find some tasks for me to do at work, so I’m being very optimistic that I am finding a routine.  Everyone keep your fingers crossed.

So it’s been a good week.  Once I got through some intestinal issues after not visiting the golden throne for 8 days – life is good.  My body was in the mode of “whaaaat, you feel good, let me throw you a curve ball.” But I beat her wiley tricks!
